CC-37 ** PCGS AU58 PPQ ** May 9 1776 Continental Colonial Currency NoteScarce & Very Choice
May 9, 1776 "SEVEN DOLLARS" Continental Colonial Currency Note in just superb condition.
Very conservatively graded & certified by PCGS as AU58 PPQ (Premium Paper Quality), and perhaps undergraded as this note does look as if it is a choice uncirculated example.
Colorful serial number & signatures, four full borders, well-centered on both sides, and this note is darkly inked.
There are no problems of any kind,
and there are no pin holes.
Bold 6-digit serial number 135682 in dark red ink, along with equally bold signatures of Josiah Hewes (also in red), while that of Andrew Tybout is neatly penned in brown ink.
An authentic & historical item that was printed and issued in our nation's birthyear of 1776 during the Revolutionary War (1775-83), just a couple months before the signing of the Declaration of Independence in July of 1776.
