    Description

    Boy Scout Eagle Scout award set. Found in California at estate sale of retired Burbank Police Chief Bell.
    Includes:
    Type 5a silver plated medal, lapel pin and tie pin in original case with unused Eagle Scout patch...I believe this set is from 1980 to 1983 (but I'm not an expert, so no guarantees).
    Also included in this lot is an additional sterling silver medal, I believe Robbins Type 3 which was distributed between 1933 and 1954.  The bar that held the ribbon onto the pin has broke...those are the two small pieces of silver that I have included (if you want to have it repaired).  The weight of this medal is  approximately 18 grams (includes fabric ribbon, eagle, broken bar, and sterling ribbon).  The back of the sterling ribbon pin states "sterling."
