    Description

This sword originally came from an antique auction just as you see it.A fellow ebayer messaged me on August 24th stating that this Sword is definitely authentic. Was originally listed as possible reproduction. Bronze colored Hilt Bow-Tie Guards will not fold down like the other listed swords pictured.Reeded grip is believed to be bone but may be Bakelite. There is no Scabbard.A magnet will stick to the Helmet Pommel and blade but will not stick to the Bow-Tie guards just the middle of the guards. This may be due in part to the metal blade being mounted in middle and actually going through the middle of guard attracting the blade.Blade reads Germany.Measures 34 X 4 3/4 X 3/4.
