Antique Japanese Edo Netsuke Man polishing his mind by Tomotani.
A male figure polishes the floor on his hands and knees. The swirling patterns of his brush form the character KOKORO, which means mind,heart or spirit. This refers to the Buddhist saying “Kokoro no migaku” , the idea that you should nurture and polish your spirit.
