    Description

    Antique Japanese Edo Inro Set by Koryusai . There were three famous lacquer workers in 18 and 19 Century with the same name...The two sides of the inro connected by the hawk looking at the bird flying over the plum tree blossoms on another side.Both medallions made of gold and black lacquer in relief ( takamakie) on gold fundame background. Signed on the bottom by Koryusai. 4 cases and lid. Size:85mm x 50mm x 20mm.The Kagamibuta Netsuke consist of nicely polished stag antler bowl and a bronze lid with blossoms and two birds in relief . Size:30mm diameter.The bronze Ojime bead matches the inro and the netsuke showing blossoms as well. Size:7mm diameter.Thank you!
