1911 Gates Rubber Company Mystery Car Winner Token

This is a 1911 Gates Rubber Company Mystery Car Winner Token.  During this era a representative of Gates Rubber Company would travel the country and stop at auto shops with "some sort of engine problem,"  usually something to do with a worn fan belt.  If the mechanic checked the belt the representative would award him one of these tokens along with an award of five silver dollars!  That would have been a big deal in those days.  This particular token is in wonderful condition and will make an excellent addition to an existing collection, or a great gift idea!
