    Description

    During the War of Independence trade with Britain declined precipitously, including the lucrative American trade with the West Indies. Hard currency was scarce and these Continental notes were widely printed, but traded at a marked discount against metal coinage. This is a nice, basically problem-free example and the corners are 99% intact.
